Hedging pittosporums

These had become too tall and top heavy with one falling over due to a combination of rain, strong winds and very shallow soil depth. They were trimmed to about 300mm above the fence height and will ideally be kept low.

You can see in the first 2  images a piece of timber propping up one in the centre that had collapsed. Due to being unable to stake it, wire was used to tie it back to the fence until it re-establishes itselfIMG_20160708_105634_01
